Temporary (4-6 months potential to be extended)

LHH is delighted to be supporting our client, a leading public sector organisation, to recruit a temporary Payroll Administrator.


The post holder will be responsible for the processing of the payrolls (weekly and monthly) and ensuring that all payroll and associated records are accurately and timeously maintained.

The key duties of this role include collating, checking and inputting all information for monthly and weekly payrolls, general payroll admin along with responding to and resolving payroll queries.

You will also assist with general HR Administration and support HR colleagues when required.


The successful applicant must be educated to SVQ Level 3 or equivalent and have experience in the use of computerised payroll systems including iTrent, performing manual calculations, and carrying out payroll -related reconciliations.

You must have knowledge of current payroll, pensions legislation and Tax and National Insurance matters. Demonstrable organisational skills, including ability to prioritise work are essential as is clear verbal and written communication skills.
