37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year


As our
Work Related Lead,
you
will take a lead role in co-ordinating work experience ensuring data collection is compliant and timely specifically where work experience is mandatory, for example but not limited to Study Programmes, the delivery of the CDF pilot and Apprenticeships.


The post holder will co-ordinate activities to ensure the sourcing of apprenticeship applicants, and co-ordinate the on-boarding processes for apprentices ensuring these services are of high quality, efficient and support placement of apprentice applicants into jobs.

Responsibilities of our
Work Related Lead:

  • Work closely with the Head of Employer Engagement and relevant Heads of Department on strategic planning for the growth and implementation of opportunities to ensure that work experience, work placement and apprenticeships are available to our students.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service to all stakeholders.
  • Organise the work of the workrelated coaches in providing all services relevant the workrelated area.
  • Work closely with colleagues within the employer engagement team to ensure that the onboarding of apprentices into the workplace at the start of their programme is a useful, meaningful and swift service as directed by the head of employer engagement.
  • Take a lead role in coordinating work experience and work placement provision for students.
  • To be responsible for monitoring performance against KPIs related to the role including accuracy of data being reported back to the Head of Employer Engagement, Commercial Director and the Executive Team.
  • Support workrelated coaches and ensure all parts of the apprentice onboarding journey are effective, fit for purpose and in line with recruitment targets.
  • Ensure all careers information, advice and guidance are compliant with benchmarking guidelines.
  • Ensure all aspects of the onboarding learner journey is fulfilled and accurate records are kept.
  • Ensure students have access to support with employability and soft skills including CV writing, interview techniques, skill checks and digital skills.

What we're looking for in our
Work Related Lead:

  • Relevant professional/vocational qualification in Team Leading
  • Hold a level 3 or higher Information, Advice and Guidance qualification *or be willing to work towards
  • 3 years' experience within a customer facing role
  • Knowledge of further education funding streams
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent problem solving and decisionmaking skills
