We are looking for someone who is passionate about practical habitat work, can inspire volunteers and engage with communities, to join our busy team.


Lancashire Wildlife Trust are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Assistant Project Officer to organise and deliver events across Wigan's Nature Reserves and Green spaces.

Alongside the Project Manager, the Assistant will build and maintain strong working relationships with the volunteers and key stakeholders in the community, delivering a programme of activities that aim to conserve and enhance habitats.


We are looking for someone with a dynamic, 'can do' attitude and experience of conservation management within an environmental organisation.
