This leading firm is looking for a Manager to join a team of experts, supporting clients primarily with tax technology and transformation which will include the design and implementation of tax technology solutions.

Your focus will be on designing and building the right solution, for the right client, at the right time.

The clients face increasingly complex tax reporting requirements. As such, technology and transformation underpin how they respond to this.


You will combine consulting skills in strategy, use of innovative new technology, and process improvement to help the clients manage their tax obligations as efficiently and effectively as possible.

This role goes beyond traditional technology work, youmight also find yourself training and coaching the next generation of staff, or even running client workshops in the onsite immersive experience spaces.

This role is technical in nature, with a focus on projects with a requirement for a bespoke software solution.

You will work as part of a team that is involved through the whole project lifecycle - from initial discussions with clients, to contracting and pricing negotiations, and into delivery, working on building reusable, scalable solutions across a range of differenttechnologies.


You'll help train and manage more junior colleagues, to build on an industry leading team that has a track record of providing fantastic results for our clients.

As a leader, you will be willing to take ownership of projects and work with the team to drive our business forwards.

You are an effective communicator, comfortable breaking down complex technical topics with both clients and colleagues.

Essential Skills:

  • Experience programming in C#, SQL and Javascript/Angular
  • Experience managing software projects and teams
  • Understanding of software engineering concepts and best practices for collaborative programming (e.g., versioning, testing, deployment)
  • Experience working with cloud technology (we principally use Microsoft Azure, but experience in AWS or Google Cloud is still very valuable)
  • Familiarity with the Agile development methodology

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience using targeted automation technologies such as Anaplan or Alteryx
  • Experience using dashboarding tools such as PowerBI
  • Prior experience in tax technology
