Due to the retirement of the current post holder, we are looking to recruit a flexible, enthusiastic and motivated staff member to our Outpatient Physiotherapy Team at Jacketts Field, Abbots Langley.

The post available is a part time Band 3 Administrative and Clerical - team administrator role (24.5 hours per week. Working days are Tuesday/Thursday and Friday).

Experience working in a similar role in the NHS/other healthcare environment would be desirable.

Interviews, will be face to face, at the Jacketts Field, Abbots Langley site and take place on 4 th April 2024.


Provide comprehensive administrative and clerical support (back office and reception) to both managerial and clinical colleagues in a busy NHS Outpatient Physiotherapy Department.

To participate in any administrative duties requested by the Therapy Team Lead related to the department's outsourcing processes.


To, in addition, assume a lead administrative and clerical role, related to the small private patient service operating on site.

To work in an outpatient based setting.

To provide a comprehensive and high quality administrative and reception support service to the Physiotherapy Team.


To complete admin and clerical duties, which includes but is not limited to reception duties, answering and making telephone enquiries, referral registration / redirection, patient transport facilitation, clinic diary management, appointment booking, filing, photocopying/printing, database inputting (patient and personnel), updating wait lists/assisting in wait list reporting, temporary staff shift inputting, and any other appropriately delegated admin & clerical task to support service delivery and enhance the provision of patient care.


To be responsible for a number of databases and filing systems, and to provide reports, as required to the Therapy Team Lead.

To maintain stock and equipment levels including stock take ordering.

To assist cost per case activity and billing data tasks/processes.

To participate in an extended hours and 7 day working pattern, once/if implemented
