Job description:


Defence Equipment and Support (DE&S) have an excellent and progressive opportunity for an Administrator to join their site in Brize Norton.

As an Administrator, you provide pivotal administrative support to the Corporate Services Function, you will regularly interact with stakeholders at all levels across the business, commonly providing support and information as part of a team for those within your defined business area.


You will undertake training to support with Health and Safety risk assessments, complete booking requests, provide business support and general administration requests, alongside attending weekly briefs over teams with colleagues from Head office.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver administrative support across specialisms as instructed and contained within the CSG Catalogue of Services and assignment specifications.
  • Act as a key point of contact for internal and external specialism requests, providing advice and guidance, escalating to more senior colleagues where appropriate.
  • Own logístical elements of activities and events such as arranging travel, booking venues or coordinating visits
  • Support internal communications such as updating internal websites, distributing key information and acting as a focal point for other internal communications
  • Manage document production, processing and maintenance as instructed e.g. any relevant papers for meetings, administration of hard copy classified documents, processing security clearance documents etc.

Person specification:


  • Experience of using Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience of building relationships and working with internal or external stakeholders.
  • Demonstration of the ability to manage work and deliver to time.
  • Ability to work independently and accurately record information.
In addition to the responsibilities above, the following technical competences and behaviours will be assessed at interview:

  • Delivering at Pace (CSBS Level 2)
  • Communicating and Influencing (CSBS Level 2)
