Description

Hunter Mental Health have an exciting opportunity for a great Mental Health Nurse to join an Intensive Dementia Support Service.

The will be providing intensive short-term assessment and treatment for patients with dementia, or those thought to have dementiain their own home.

The service checks and monitors a patient's medication, assess dementia and help manage patients when they become agitated, verbally or physically aggressive, or resist care.

They also support families and carers.


Experience in community mental health is required as the service would require someone to hit the ground running and be a real asset to the service.
