Night Laundry and Care Assistant Split Role

We have an exciting new role available at Davenham Hall Nursing Home - A Healthcare Assistant split with a laundry role.

We have part time or full time hours on nights available.

The shift would run 20:00 - 08:00 with the schedule 20:00 - 23:00 HCA, 23:00 - 06:00 laundry, 06:00 - 08:00 HCA.

About The Role:

To manage the laundry procedures and required throughout of laundry, thereby preventing unnecessary build up.

To ensure a regular supply of detergent. The stock is in the (COSHH) Control of Substance Hazardous to Health in the garage.
To be responsible for the maintenance of the laundry equipment and the daily defluffing of the dryer, reporting any defects to the Housekeeper.
To allocate clothes to their appropriate baskets, and to keep clean and dirty areas of the Laundry as appropriate tick sheet to be completed.
To distribute clothes into the Residents rooms.
To keep the laundry room in a clean and hygienic condition.
Helping with washing and dressing.
Assisting with mealtimes.
Finding out and knowing residents interests and needs.

Successful applicants would require two written references, an enhanced DBS and evidence of a right to work in the UK check.

Night Shift Contracts

8pm until 8am
