Tradewind Recruitment is working with a secondary school in Haringey which is seeking a Learning Support Assistant for an immediate start until July 2023, with the possibility of the role becoming permanent after that.

The school is seeking a good all-rounder who will be ready for anything throughout the day.

You should be a very good communicator and have excellent spoken and written English as some students require additional support as they are new to English.

You should also be able follow plans and instructions closely as well as have a good level of initiative.


Responsibilities:


  • Assist students in class with their learning on a 1:1 and small group basis
  • Help students achieve their full potential
  • Work as part of the SEN team, closely with the school SENCO and class teachers to support students with special educational needs

Requirements:


  • The school is seeking someone very reliable with great communication skills
  • Passion for working with students
  • Enhanced DBS Disclosure
  • Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable)
  • Professional reference checks
  • CV covering the last 10 years of employment history
  • Legal right to work in the UK

Salary:
£75-85 per day


Location:
Haringey, North London

School has a car park and is well served by public transport.
