Description

People

  • Act as the first point of contact on employee related matters providing timely, positive and accurate advice including with the People shared inbox.
  • Advising on HR best practice and in line with People policies and procedures.
  • Provide advice whilst playing a key role in change processes.
  • Attend informal and formal meetings whilst advising and taking notes.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of People policies and practices.
  • Proactively raise matters of concern and seek advice from the Senior People BP and People Operations matters where required
  • Proactively support and direct managers in relation to employee relations case management
  • Undertake case reviews and provide advice and support to managers
  • Support with the creation of case management documentation
  • Ensure all employee records are maintained in line with Data Protection legislation.
  • Produce documentation to support key people processes and letters on behalf of the business.
  • Produce communications to support People Policies, organisation change or HR updates for posting on internal communication channels such as the intranet.
  • Update, maintain and produce people data using the HR system.
  • Updating and maintaining other systems used by the People function
  • Monitoring leave and time off and advise accordingly
  • To ensure line managers and employees complete relevant documentation in a timely manner

Recruitment

  • To assist with recruitment and selection process including attending interviews where required.
  • Support the onboarding process including preemployment checks
Induction and Training

  • Support employees and line managers with the induction and probationary process
  • Assist with organising, planning and facilitating of company training
  • Facilitate HR training modules

Health & Safety

  • Advise employees in relation to health and wellbeing, risk assessments in line with People policies

Adhoc duties

  • Assist on adhoc HR projects when required.
  • Where necessary, you must be prepared to assist the Corporate Services team or your relevant region with any duties, responsibilities or projects delegated to you that are outside of your remit.

Salary:
£25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • 53 Portland Street, M1 3LD: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
