Job title:
Paint Sprayer / Paint Technician x 9

Job location:
Derby, Derbyshire

Hourly pay rate:
£15.25 PAYE - £20.01 Umbrella (All hours in the week)
£20.25 PAYE - £26.77Umbrella (Saturdays)
£27.00 PAYE - £35.91 Umbrella (Sundays)

Shifts: 6am until 1pm Mon-Fri

1pm until 8pm Mon-Fri
8pm until 6am Mon-Thur
Overtime is available at the weekends

ASAP

Position Summary:

Essential Experience:

  • Previous paint finishing experience
  • Able to prep and prime
  • Be able to refinish
  • Be able to select the correct tools for varying jobs
  • Be able to work safely in an industrial environment
  • Be able to work at height
  • Be able to follow written work instructions

Desirable Experience:

  • Water based paint experience
  • Specific Hydro Topcoat experience would be preferable
  • Rail experience
  • Ability to mix various different colours and types of paint
  • Formal qualifications in paint spraying / vehicle repair

Work Experience:

  • Previous experience paint spraying on rolling stock, HGV, PSV, trailers or other large vehicles.
