Description

The Senior Clinical Fellow for General Surgery are exciting and innovative newly established posts to support our busy Emergency Department (ED).

The ED Liaison posts are key function in the ED surgical assessment of patients and improve flow and help stream the surgical patients.

This will provide faster clinical decision making and prevent delays to surgical interventionThe applicants must have MRCS and full GMC Registration.

The appointees will fast track patients through their diagnosis and initiate investigation to provide initial management for patient presenting with acute surgical issues.

They will also triage surgical patients to improve the decision making for admission/further referral or ambulation management via the surgical Hot Clinic.
