A Snapshot of your day
Siemens Energy is looking to hire a new Draughtsperson to join the Operations Engineering team based in Ulverston.

  • Your new role will be to provide technical support to both external and internal Stakeholders which will also include; design work, associated CAD generated drawings and technical documents as required.

Your responsibilities

  • Design subsea solutions to ensure they meet customer requirements
  • Support both internal and external Stakeholders with technical enquiries
  • Assist Customer Support with new product costing and compiling bid packages
  • Represent the company in technical meetings
  • Produce CAD generated connector assembly and harness drawings
  • Define and compile; assembly procedures, tooling, installation procedures, maintenance procedures, FAT test procedures, qualification test procedures, test reports, technical data sheets and procurement specifications

Your profile

  • Mechanical Engineering knowledge (concept design, detail design, detail drawing, tolerance stackup analysis, design review, etc)
  • Experience in using CAD
  • Ability to prioritise workload and multitask
  • Self motivated, committed and flexible teammate
