About our client
We are working with a well-established and highly regarded private equity and growth capital investor. It invests in businesses across the UK in a variety of sectors.

It is looking for an Origination Manager with an aptitude for private equity or growth capitalinvesting in the UK mid-market, and the ability to lead relationships with C-Suite individuals.

The primary role of the DO team is to generate attractive deal flow for the Private Equity team and ensure they are seeing as many of the opportunities in the marketas possible.


What the job involves:


  • Lead the Private Equity DO team in identifying target companies
  • Develop the fund's presence across the UK market
  • Make initial contact with the identified companies, and take responsibility for conversations to qualify targets
  • Conducting specific searches for funds where a strategic need has been identified

Who we are looking for:


  • A proven track record of originating investments in the UK midmarket
  • An affinity to the UK lower midmarket and an enthusiasm for software
  • Excellent communication skills and professional manner to engage with C-Suite individuals
  • Ability to multitask, manage changing priorities and tight deadlines
