I am currently working with a Group of companies based in Ilkeston.

The manufacturing providers are currently looking for an ambitious Assistant Management Accountant to help support the Financial Controller with the Management Accounts and Month end duties,with the opportunity for future progression.


Duties:


  • Assisting with preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Support in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
  • Updating and posting monthly journals
  • Prepayments and accruals
  • Monthly bank reconciliations
  • Some purchase/sales ledger duties
  • Oversee some members of staff

Person Specification:

  • AAT Qualified
  • Part-Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent
  • Studying to become Qualified
  • Previous experience of preparation of Management Accounts
  • Ambitious and used to a fastpaced working environments
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • Manufacturing experience
