CTS' revenue helps to fund the CO Research Trust, which carries out vital research into Carbon Monoxide (CO) Poisoning. We are currently looking to expand our nationwide team of Auditors to fulfil existing customer contracts across the country.

A gas auditor is required in the Berwick-upon
  • Tweed/Scottish Borders or within 100 miles.

You will need to have a high level of focus on quality of work and safety, as well as excellent communication skills.


MAIN PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF THE JOB


Consistently and effectively complete gas safety and compliance inspections, audits, and quality control checks for CTS to allow our clients to measure and demonstrate quality, safety, and compliance.

Maintain client relationships when undertaking measures to meet the customers' requirements and expectations.


POSITION IN ORGANISATION

Reports To:
Technical Safety Manager


Responsible For:


  • Undertaking a predetermined number of audits in an agreedupon period
  • Assessing others work for safety and compliance against industry legislative requirements and best practises
  • Attending meetings to represent CTS
  • Dealing with technical inquiries
  • Complying with company policies and procedures
  • Inputting findings using CTS' digital platform
  • Planning their own work (where required or requested)

Essential

  • Experience of working within the gas industry with a detailed knowledge of domestic and/or commercial gas installations
  • Relevant ACS qualifications
  • Willing to have a handson approach to carrying out thirdparty safety and quality audits
  • Uptodate knowledge of gas safety, legislation and industry standards
  • Good communication skills
  • Willing to travel around a given region

Desirable

  • Experience in carrying out thirdparty safety and quality audits is desirable but not essential, as full training to our high standards will be provided
  • A1, A2, assessor (D32, 33) assessor qualification: desirable but not essential as training will be provided
  • NVQ level 3, City & Guilds in Gas Installation and Commercial qualifications
  • Maintenance and commercial gas ACS qualifications
  • Experience of working within a facilities management and/or social housing environment
  • Sub_contract _workers are provided:_
  • CTSbranded workwear
  • Tablet provided (if required)
  • Fuel payment (for mileage over agreed terms)
  • Sub_contractors _will need to provide:_
  • Own Vehicle (suitable for the type of work)
  • Electronic Combustion Gas Analyzer (calibrated)
  • Fuel
  • Work materials (sundries and documents)
  • Required insurances (e.g. Public liability £5 million)

£190.00-£210.00 per day
