£80-£100 per day (Depending on Experience)
Monday to Friday am to 3.30pm

THE SCHOOL

A lovely 11-18 secondary school in Banbury are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their team from January 2024 on a long term supply basis through to July 2024.

There is an opportunity for a permanent position from September 2024.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about education and who wants to work alongside experienced professionals in a supportive and dynamic environment.

THE ROLE
As a Full-Time Teaching Assistant you will play a crucial role in supporting the students' educational journey.

Your responsibilities will include in the following:

Assist teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
Provide oneonone or small group support to students who may require extra help.
Help manage classroom activities and maintain a productive learning environment.
Foster positive relationships with students, promoting their social and emotional development.
Support children with special educational needs (SEN) and adapt teaching materials as necessary.
Assist with classroom organisation, including preparing materials and resources.
Promote a culture of respect, inclusivity, and enthusiasm for learning.
Contribute to the safety and wellbeing of students in all school activities.

ABOUT YOU

Previous experience working with children or young people, particularly those with Sen needs.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Empathy and patience.
A genuine passion for helping children reach their full potential.
Relevant qualifications or training are a plus.
