Supply Chain Advisor


Location:
Portsmouth Naval Base***
Salary:£28,500 depending on skills and experience


What you'll be doing:


  • Operating in a buyer capacity
  • Taking full ownership for the entire end to end procurement life cycle, with tasks including:
  • Supplier management
  • Requesting quotes
  • PO orders
  • Order book management
  • Invoicing queries
  • Conducting monthly business reviews with suppliers
  • Managing return plans
  • Owning all orders for all of the ship repair team

Your skills and experiences:


  • Strong Excel Skills
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Previous experience within procurement, buying, supply chain and or logistics
  • Understanding the whole procurement/buying lifecycle is advantageous but not essential
