You will have an educational supervisor, a healthy study leave budget and fantastic training opportunities. Bangor University has very close links with the hospital.


The posts are not a part of National core training scheme but will offer similar training opportunities to Clinical Fellows at CT level.

A comprehensive teaching programme will provide access to protected consultant led teaching opportunities and Fellows will be offered opportunity to join senior clinical fellowship programme (ST3+ level).

We are an exciting diverse department, with ample exposure to trauma and elective activity, which becomes increasingly busy during peak holiday periods.

The post holders will be encouraged to undertake research as well as audit projects, with access to a generous study budget, supported by the Orthopaedic clinical team.


Situated between the tidal flows of the Menai Straits and the rugged Eryri national park (Snowdonia), Bangor is the ideal place for a work-life balance.
