Salary offering £43k + Overtime + Time off in Lieu

Our client are a very successful family run, food manufacturer who have been in operation for almost 40 years, they supply into leading UK brands and have built up a large portfolio of repeat customers, which is expanding.

As the company is growing their workload also is, so they are now looking for an experienced Multi-skilled maintenance engineer with a can-do attitude to join them on their dayshift at their site near Peterborough.

Your Role:

As a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer you will join our team near Peterborough and report directly to the Maintenance Manager. You will be either be apprenticeship qualified or equivalent.
As part of the engineering team, you will be involved in:

  • Preventative maintenance
  • Electrical fault finding on PLC's, Motors, Production lines and control panels.
  • Attending to breakdowns
  • New machinery installations
  • Projects
  • Make valuable contributions towards continuous development in the engineering team.
  • Solving ongoing problems and providing longterm solutions

You will be either apprenticeship qualified or equivalent within an Engineering capacity.
As part of the engineering team, you will have a proven track record with the following:

  • Preventative maintenance
  • Attending breakdowns
  • New machinery installations
  • Projects
  • Competent with electrical, PLC & control panels
  • Pneumatics & hydraulics
  • Demonstrate good fabrication & welding skills
  • Good at problem solving
