Staff Selection UK are currently looking to recruit a Welder Operative for our well known client in Peterlee

Key Responsibilities:

Plan work to minimise waste of raw materials as well as working in a clean and tidy manner.
Work to engineering drawings.
Be Familiar with MiG welding competencies.
Work in accordance with company operating procedures and guidelines.
Work with production and production engineering to analyse, plan and implement solutions to create and implement efficient fabrication processes with regards to tooling, jigs etc.
Work with production and production engineering on the design and implementation of projects considering Lean manufacturing tools and techniques.
Evaluate all engineering drawings and ensure implementation according to welding specifications.
Perform all relevant MiG welding, other welding and grinding etc.

Personal Attributes:

Ideally possessing experience within a production/manufacturing environment.
Have an eye for detail, strive for accuracy and respect quality in all aspects of the work.
OUR CLIENT WILL ACCEPT SOMEBODY WITH MINIMAL EXPERIENCE OR SOMEONE WHO HAS DONE IT BEFORE AND LOOKING TO GET BACK INTO IT

£10.00 per hour

Temp to Perm Basis.
