The Governors at Fulwood and Cadley Primary School would like to appoint a Children and Family Support worker who is committed to ensuring the very best for our children and families.


The successful applicant will:

  • Be ambitious in their pursuit to overcome any potential barrier to learning in order to ensure all our children fulfil their potential and be the best they can be.
  • Ensure a consistently high attendance level across school and lead on initiatives and support hard to reach families


They will demonstrate a commitment to the Fulwood & Cadley team by working collaboratively, building trusting relationships with staff, parents, children and agency professionals, in order to support the ambition for high standards across the school.

Essential Qualifications

At least 4 Grade A-C at GCSE (Including English and Maths) Relevant Higher Education/Vocational Qualification

Safeguarding

Attendance management

Essential Experience

Experience of working with or caring for children of relevant age

Experience of working in a relevant classroom/service environment

Experience of supporting pupils experiencing barriers to learning

Monitoring and supporting attendance across a similar setting

Have a good understanding of services available to families who may be experiencing difficulty and challenge

Desirable Experience

Experience of Administrative work
