*Fully Remote Working Available*Contact:Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting on behalf of a Local Authority in Somerset for a Finance Manager on a temporary basis. The postholder will have the ability to work fully remote during this assignment which will be an initial 4 months with possibilityfor extension. The postholder will be part of the Finance Business Partnering team and will deliver financial practice and management and help budget holders to manage their budgets effectively. The postholder will manage a team of 5 individuals, who collectivelyprovide budget monitoring and forecasting for senior managers to assist in the decision making processes.
Full Job Specification Available

  • AAT Level 4 qualified as a minimum, CCAB preferred
  • Experience in a Local Government/Local Authority finance background is essential
  • Experienced in managing a small team to provide support to a wider service
  • Experienced with financial modelling, forecasting and budget monitoring
  • Ability to work well as part of a team as well as on own initiative with great communication throughout
