Purchasing Co-ordinator - Permanent - Telford


L & C Consulting are recruiting on behalf of a well-established company in Telford for a new Purchasing Co-Ordinator / Procurement Administrator / Purchasing Assistant to join them on a permanent basis.

The role will require someone with previous experience in Purchasing / Procurement, ideally in high SKU environment, who looking for their next step in their career.

Working as part of a small team, duties will include (but not be limited to):

  • Create POs including for low inventory levels and order shortfalls
  • Monitor sales v order levels
  • Update supplier price records
  • Stock file management
  • Liaise with and maintain supplier relationships
  • Placing orders & look to improve cost benefits through bulk buying where appropriate
  • Arrange collections and deliveries
  • Support other departments where appropriate


To be considered for this role you MUST have previous purchasing experience, be IT literate (especially with Excel), be professional & hard-working, be a good team player with excellent communication, analytical and organisational skills as well as being happy with processing large amounts of orders on a daily basis.
