Purchasing Co-ordinator - Permanent - Telford

L & C Consulting are recruiting on behalf of a well-established company in Telford for a new Purchasing Co-Ordinator / Procurement Administrator / Purchasing Assistant to join them on a permanent basis.

The role will require someone with previous experience in Purchasing / Procurement, ideally in high SKU environment, who looking for their next step in their career.

Working as part of a small team, duties will include (but not be limited to):

Create POs including for low inventory levels and order shortfalls
Monitor sales v order levels
Update supplier price records
Stock file management
Liaise with and maintain supplier relationships
Placing orders & look to improve cost benefits through bulk buying where appropriate
Arrange collections and deliveries
Support other departments where appropriate

To be considered for this role you MUST have previous purchasing experience, be IT literate (especially with Excel), be professional & hard-working, be a good team player with excellent communication, analytical and organisational skills as well as being happy with processing large amounts of orders on a daily basis.
