Description

Main Duties

  • General civil engineering labour activities including road works, drainage, slab and kerb laying, cablepulling, concrete works, hand digging etc.
  • Transporting and operating the tar box.
  • Keeping any assigned vehicle, equipment, plant or machinery in clean and wellmaintained condition and undertake all required routine checks on them.
  • Operate designated vehicle, plant, machinery and equipment in keeping with the standard operating procedure for each item.
  • Do not use any plant, machinery or equipment unless operator training and certification is current.
  • Report any faults/breakages/issues with vehicle, plant, machinery or equipment to line manager straight away.

Qualifications

Essential:


  • UK Driving licence
  • Spill kit training
  • Manual handling training

Desirable:


  • First Aid
  • CSCS H&S Test Operative
  • CPCS/NPORS qualification for designated plant
  • HGV licence

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Westhill: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
