If the answer to these questions is yes then an exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, reliable and highly motivated individual to join the corporate heads of nursing team.


To provide an efficient and effective Personal Assistant, administrative and secretarial support service for the East Cheshire Corporate Heads of Nursing Team.


The role requires excellent secretarial and communication skills, ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines and includes diary management, general administration duties, specific project support.

Skills in the use of all Microsoft office packages are essential as is the ability to undertake data entry, monitoring and collection.

The ability to create and maintain databases is also essential.

In addition you must have excellent attention to detail, possess strong organisational skills and be able to act on your own initiative

The post is 33.5 hours per week with Monday to Friday cover ideally required. We are open to flexible hours /approaches to suit which can be discussed in more detail at interview.


In return you will be supported and encouraged to develop your knowledge and skills and have the opportunity to work in friendly and supportive team.


The post holder will provide support with:

  • Preparation of agendas and minutes and taking appropriate follow-up action as required
  • Organizing and scheduling meetings, groups, and other events
  • Provide minute taking service for meetings
  • Diary management
  • Support the Corporate Head of Nursing team with producing correspondence, reports, and presentations
  • To support data collection, processing, and analysis
  • Provide dedicated administrative support for Non-Medical Prescribing
  • Communicate effectively across the team and at all levels throughout the Trust and external organisations. This includes verbal, written and electronic media
  • Utilise Word/Excel/Power Point, Datix, to support the formatting of documents and presentations as required to produce reports, data collection and analysis and relevant database management and monitoring.
