Interim Clerk of Works

Sussex

£ per day or up to £70,000 FTC

A multi-award-winning care home provider recognised for providing high-quality residential care and innovative facilities.

With over 20 care homes in the South of England and Wales, they are currently looking for a highly accomplished Interim Clerk of Worksto ensure quality standards are met on building 3 schemes based in the South of England.


The clerk of works will be responsible; for their principal role which is to inspect workmanship to ensure compliance with building regulations and client specifications.


They will also advise on and oversee aspects of Health & Safety and keep a log of any unexpected delays or events that may impact progress, for instance, supply chain issues with materials or a disruptive spell of adverse weather which halts work.


Qualifications:


  • Constructionrelated degree or relevant experience
  • Membership of the Institute of Clerks of Works and Construction Inspectorate (MICWCI)
