We're hiring for a competent
Welder Fabricator to join a multi-skilled engineering team at a unique and leading energy company based in the
High Peak. The ideal Welder will have a background working within the construction or manufacturing industries along with MIG and TIG welding experience.


We are looking for someone who wants to settle into a long-term role who can integrate in to an already established team to continue to drive the company forward.


What's on offer?
- £33,000 - £35,000 per annum

  • 8:00am 5:00pm Monday Thursday / 2:00pm finish on Fridays
  • 28 days holiday

  • Occasional overnight stays away from home to carry out installations

What will you be doing as a Welder / Fabricator?

  • Marking, drilling, grinding, and cutting materials into the required shapes, closely checking dimensions and thicknesses
  • MIG and TIG welding or joining metal (mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium) and other materials into a wide range of structures
  • Reworking and/or repairing welded parts and products according to specifications
  • Performing quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards
  • Carrying out installation work at various sites if and when required

What do you need?

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in MIG / TIG welding
  • The ability to read assembly drawings and experience in metal fabrication
  • Physically fitness as the job entails a degree of manual work
  • Enthusiasm with ability to think on your own and use initiative
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • The ability to occasionally work away from home when required

Salary:
£33,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
