My client are leaders of contextual marketing, make it easy for brands to deliver advertising that's relevant to what people care about in that very moment.
Working as part of a small team, you will be responsible for proactive monitoring of servers, providing analysis, and recommendation with regard to design, technology and hardware.
You will primarily have responsibilities relating to their MS SQL server platformbut will be expected to be familiar and hands on with a wide selection of current and emerging SQL and NoSQL database technologies.
Responsibilities
- Close monitoring of all production SQL Servers across all datacentres.
- Support the development and management of the data warehouse. The data warehouse will be comprised of data from Microsoft SQL server databases, MySQL, AWS Redshift, and other sources.
- Design and build ETL routines
- Maintain and monitor the company backup strategy
- Identify and propose improvements to database design and technology to improve throughput, query ability and latency.
- To proactively deliver project work to improve the data infrastructure or add functionality as required
- The position also requires a substantial amount of project development work, which as the need arises, is essential to be delivered to the business on time and to specification.
Skills:
- Advanced T-SQL
- Microsoft SQL Server 2008 to T-SQL
- Basic knowledge of Python
- AWS Cloud Computing Services
- RDS Mysql with Custer & replica management
- Redshift: PostgresSQL
