We're looking for a
Resource Co-ordinator, to support our goal of looking after one of life's essentials by ensuring we have the right resource in the right location to complete the work required.


You'll be based in our modern
Pride Park site where you'll be able to park for free or get to with ease with loads of local travel options.

You'll work within alongside our 280 strong
Workforce Planning & Optimisation Team who all love what they do.

The objective of the
Resource Co-ordinator is to support the Tactical Planning Lead and co-ordinate the movement and control of Severn Trent and contract labour resources to deliver the plan for wholesale operations by:

  • Balance and movement of resources to meet demand.
  • Administration support and reporting of shrinkage annual leave, training, meetings etc.
  • Facilitating cross boundary working and feeding the necessary information into SAP CLICK (our internal scheduling system).


You will have overall responsibility for ensuring CLICK is up to date and built to the agreed resource level for each area with the right skills and allocations.


As part of the role, you will ensure all shrinkage is entered into the system against the appropriate codes in an accurate and timely manner.


A large part of this role is to be curious You will be tasked with investigating and challenge any requests that fall outside of agreed protocols, escalating issues where necessary.


You will be working with key stakeholders to agree and sign up to delivery of the forecasted plan and then follow up with the Tactical Planning Lead to agree and handover the 28 day plan.

You will proactively manage the schedule of all resources across STW.

Escalate resource issues promptly and avoid WIP increase.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE ROLE


Your brilliant organisation skills, care, and passion for driving great plans whilst maintaining high levels of customer service are exactly what we're looking for.


This is due to liaising with our operational teams to provide feedback on shrinkage levels and available capacity on demand.

This will ensure our operational team are set up for success.


Being proactive and organised will make you a shining star in this role as you'll need to work to certain service levels to achieve our customer and company outcomes efficiently, correctly and accurately.

This will enable you identify opportunities to share and move resources across geographic boundaries to meet business needs.


It is important you are proactive in the use of continuous improvement and problem-solving techniques to identify issues, solutions and implement and sustain best practice solutions.


As a Resource Co-Ordinator, you'll be supporting our customers by having great communication skills with various key stakeholders, as well as being able to effectively plan, prioritise and organise your own workload.
