This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and successful team that forms part of the Welsh Government's flagship programme to address long term unemployment in Wales that targets those from disadvantaged or excluded backgrounds with complex barriers to employment.

This post has been created by an expansion of the Communities for Work Plus team who are based in community venues in Caia Park and Plas Madoc and works across the County Borough.

The post holder will work closely with a colleague to assist the Community Employment Programme & Tackling Poverty Manager with the supervision and development the Communities for Work Plus (CfW+) Team (approximately 8 members of staff) and work that contributes to the wider Tackling Poverty agenda.

The Team Leader will have extensive knowledge of the services in their area of responsibility and will provide the Community Employment Programme and Tackling Poverty Manager with ideas to consider for improvements,

The post holder will be responsible for maintaining key data/information (i.e.

project finances, outputs and performance indicators to be stored and archived in line with the external funders own terms and conditions/ criteria.
