Description

We are looking for a motivated individual with excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills who are dedicated to working as part of the team.


The post holder will act as an expert Metastatic Breast Cancer Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) providing advice and clinical intervention to this patient group.

Promoting a seamless service within a multi-professional framework leading on service quality improvement, redesign and development.

This will be achieved through the core dimensions of the role, clinical practice, leadership, and acting as the patient advocate.


Responsibilities will include the day-to-day management of the metastatic breast cancer patient case load, nurse led clinics, participation in ward based inpatient support, attendance at breast MDT, collation and execution of management plans.

Advanced skills in clinical assessment, SACT, symptom control and an in-depth knowledge of treatment modalities.
