IT Security Officer | Doncaster / Hybrid | Paying up to £45,000 + £6,000 car allowance

Lynx Recruitment Ltd have partnered with a Construction Company that are looking for an IT Security Officer to join the team.


The responsibility of the IT Security Officer will be to lead the development and delivery of security to the business through technological insight, user awareness, and risk management.

As the IT Security Officer, you will need to help define, protect,and shape the clients changing digital, technology and information systems landscape.


  • Ability to develop and own the IT Security manual that documents the services in use, governance tasks, and policies that need to be undertaken to keep them secure.
  • You will need to be able to take ownership in identifying and understanding security risks and gaps, and clearly and effectively communicate and prioritise the steps to remediate.
  • Ensure that the security processes are clearly defined.
  • Adhere and reinforce the IT change management process.
  • Will need to be skilled in designing implementing, and maintaining compliance/risk/protocols/ plans to cover all threats.
  • Knowledge of vulnerability management technologies
