PDI Engineer

Northampton

Monday - Thursday 08:00am - 16:30pm Friday - 15:30pm

£25-30k DOE


We have partnered with a market leading manufacturer, who are looking for experienced PDI engineers to join their team in Northampton on a permanent basis.

You will be required to ensure all equipment is finished to the highest quality standards, in linewith customer and client specifications.


Key Duties:


  • Preparation of New company Forklifts.
  • Fitting additional parts.
  • Fitting aftermarket parts such as attachments/weather guards, varied safety devices, weigh scales, speed limiters, and extra hydraulic services.
  • General fault finding and diagnostic tasks.
  • Ensuring excellent communication between departments, such as parts required to the Purchasing team.
  • Completing PDI worksheets to a high standard.
  • Loading and unloading of lorries/containers as requested.
  • Housekeeping in the Workshop/warehouse and yard.
  • MHE Industry Experience
  • Good working knowledge of forklift engineering, with ideally 1 Year Minimum in FLT or Plant maintenance
  • Mechanical knowledge and experience
  • Team orientated and a confident communicator
  • Good attention to detail
  • Health and safety and electrical knowledge would also be desirable
