Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for a temporary Band 3 A&C Immunisation Team Administrator to work within the Oxford Health NHS Trust.

This role will be based within the Oxford area, this will be on a 3 month temporary contract with possibleextension.


Hours
37.5 hours per week

Rates
£10.28 PAYE ( £12.50Ltd) paid weekly via an umbrella company.

Main Duties
To undergo administrative work and provide secretarial support to the various teams/departments.

This will include being the first point of contact for team/ department, which could involve duties such as:

Identifying and improving uptake in hard to reach communities

Identifying and targeting the most vulnerable cohorts as identified in the Health Equity Audit

:

With guidance from the Specialist Immunisation Inequalities Nurse, encourage the completion and return of consent forms, providing support and taking a verbal consent where necessary

Improve communications regarding immunisations with schools, parents and Local authorities

:

-
Ensuring immunisation data produced is correct by liaising with Child Health Information Services (CHIS) and GPs

:

On occasions the post holder may be required to attend school-based immunisations sessions and support consenting process with unconsented children and their parents

Ensuring that valid consent is received from those young people without consent forms. (Self-consent using Frazer Guidelines)

To be aware of the confidential nature of the work

Work within OHFT'S Safeguarding Policies

Liaising with partners to ensure vulnerable children, and home-schooled children are immunised

:

Respond to parent queries re Immunisation history and information

Support admin staff when required

Report and refer any concerns regarding child protection to manager

To maintain a professional manner and appearance at all times

Assisting the Immunisation Team and School Nursing team at health promotion events in schools and communities
