KS1/ KS2 Teaching Assistants

Salary:
£83 - £110 per day

About the Teaching Assistant Role

You will engage with children and enforce positive behaviour
You will Support teaching and Learning within the class
Assisting with preparation, planning and marking if required
Taking small groups for interventions for example Maths or Phonics
Carry out administrative duties, such as preparing the classroom and clearing away after class to ensure effective teaching can take place.
Available to work Monday to Friday Term time only hours of pm until at least September 2024.

Requirements of the role

Positive approach to working with children and the ability to motivate, inspire and build rapport.
You will have loads of initiative, be well organised and proactive.
A strong regard for pupil safety and wellbeing.
Respect for diversity, as you'll be working with pupils from a range of backgrounds

- communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with pupils, parents, teachers and governors.

Reading, writing and numeracy skills.
Relevant qualifications in supporting teaching and learning in schools and early childhood or experience working or caring for children or adults with special needs before.
The ability to challenge children when they display negative behaviour and become reluctant learners.
Be a qualified level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant or have other relevant experience ( care, family member support, Youth work etc )
RTW in the UK and a fully checkable work history.
