About the role


As a Connections Team Leader you will be leading a team of 10 direct reports promoting teamwork, productivity and adherence to company regulations and performance goals.

We want you to think ahead and plan with the ability to pre-empt team needs as theyarise, identity and implement process improvements and promote delivery of excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.


Key Accountabilities

  • Analyse and interpret data to manage operational and team performance
  • Able to influence a team's performance

  • Able to change own and team priorities quickly in response to business demands
  • Promote optimum efficiency and compliance
  • Coordinate and deliver work efficiently and with precision within agreed processes, procedures and timescales
  • Proactively deliver brilliant quality customer service to all internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure accurate recording, maintenance and distribution of relevant necessary data
  • Identify improved ways of working and deliver this within the team
  • Ensure a quality experience is delivered and always act responsibly
  • Comply with required H&S standards at all times reducing risk to colleagues, customers and stakeholders
  • Build strong relationships and have the ability and determination to meet stakeholder expectations
  • Ensure each team member understands how they contribute to the success of the team
  • To lead a team of Connections Support Advisors to provide a range of services to our customers Provide direction to the team including setting objectives and managing performance, motivating, coaching, and coordinating all activities to ensure optimum efficiencyis achieved
  • Work closely with the Design Team, operational managers, and other Network Support teams to provide a joinedup service for the customer

About You

  • Working knowledge of HR policies and procedures
  • Experience working in a customer focused environment
  • Experience analysing and interpret data to manage operational and team performance
  • High level system knowledge of core IS system infrastructure
