Main Purpose:

Manage planning process for Sparrows resource / personnel allocation, looking ahead at scope planning and working with the operational teams to ensure Sparrows ability to provide resource in support of the business.

Main Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain Sparrows resource / personnel planning using appropriate tools
Monitor and control planning activities through all phases of service delivery
Maintain and review planning processes with key stakeholders
Chair regular resource planning meetings with operational teams and key stakeholders
Liaise with engineering, logistics and operations team, and others as required, including third parties, to maintain awareness of project activities, their status, and their impact on the project schedule and manpower requirements
Assess and communicate effectively schedule impact of any change notifications to the key stakeholders and departments

Skills / Qualifications:

Demonstrate strong communications skills both oral and written. Be able to lead and run planning meetings, delegate and execute actions.
Must have expert knowledge of manual and computerised project planning and scheduling techniques
Have strong experience in planning, with experience and intermediate skill level in resource scheduling.
Must be able to work effectively in a Team environment and build consensus.
Must have an experience and understanding of scheduling resources planning and managing conflicting priorities.
