An opportunity has arisen for a Personal Assistant to join the Families and Integrated Community Care Division at Blackpool Victoria Hospital.

Although working predominantly in the Women's Health Department, there will be the expectation of supporting the Child Health's side.


Must have experience working in a busy office environment and have the ability to work accurately whilst meeting deadlines and have a flexible approach.

We are looking to recruit to one individual

1 x 37.5hr post.


The post holder will be required to provide a comprehensive secretarial and administration service to consultants within the Families and Integrated Community Care Division.

The role will involve acting as a Personal Assistant to the consultants, you will be accountable for the day
- to-day management of your own and Consultants clinical and non-clinical workload. An essential part of the role is the ability to manage and prioritise own workload without direct supervision including diary management, dealing with telephone calls and enquiries, typing minutes of meetings and random quality checking of typist work.


Other duties may include word processing, keyboard skills, audio-typing, use of G2 voice recognition system, data processing, information technology, communication and organisational skills.

Holiday cover for other Personal Assistants will also be a requirement of the post.
