Responsibilities and duties for the role will include:
- To set and operate machines within work area to achieve maximum output whilst maintaining quality
- Carry out scheduled quality checks on all products and report any material or machine defects
- Ensure that factory environment standards and safe working practices as defined by the Health and Safety at Work Act are met
- Carry out general maintenance/machine clean down on a weekly basis
- Ensure that all machine working areas are kept clean and tidy
- Supports process improvements that decrease cost of operations and/or improve efficiency of operations under close supervision
- Successfully applies knowledge gained from training to work environments
- Supports the HSEQ team by showing basic awareness of the environmental impact of their work and consistently reporting incidents, hazards and near misses
- Maintain good housekeeping standards within the factory and exterior perimeter at all times
- Maintain a good working relationship with both employed and temporary personnel at all times

- Support internal machinery training
- First Aid and/or Overhead Crane training is desirable
