Corporate Actions Administrator - 12 Months FTC

What does the team do?


We analyse and process voluntary and mandatory Corporate Actions to clients within our nominee, currently processing over £1bn a year in stock and cash.


What are the key responsibilities?

  • Contribute to the accurate and timely processing of all dividend/interest income to client accounts. Includes reconciliation of stock positions and the correct treatment of the dividend in terms of the type of dividend.
  • Monitor outstanding cash positions on the bank and carry out investigations as necessary in accordance with CASS regulations.
  • Ensure dividends processed are presented correctly on Consolidated Tax Vouchers.
  • Answer any queries comprehensively and professionally in a timely manner.
  • Escalate any issues to manager/section head as appropriate.
  • Maintain knowledge and understanding of dividends processing and current market practices.
  • Ability to work to deadlines as required.

What core skills and knowledge are we seeking?

  • Are you able to communicate at all levels, effectively and clearly?
  • Are you able to solve problems within a pressurised environment and within predetermined deadlines?
  • Do you have knowledge/experience of Dividend processing is desirable but not essential?
  • Highly numerate
  • Do you have good knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Excel knowledge essential?
  • Do you have high level of accuracy and attention to detail?
  • Ability to produce and interpret reports
  • Good knowledge of the wider business
