This post is full time, 37.5 hours a week and is based in Crawley Hospital.

The service covers two Intermediate Care Units (ICUs); in Horsham Hospital and Crawley Hospitals, and the post holder will occasionally be expected to work flexibly to cover at the other site.

The service currently covers five days a week but there will be the introduction of 7 day working in the future.


As a member of the team, you will have the opportunity to receive support from other therapy colleagues, receive clinical supervision from registered therapists, participate in the in-service learning programme, develop your practice relevant to the team, participate in competency development with the team and more formally complete the Therapy Assistant Foundation Training.

You will assist in supporting service development and shaping the future clinical practice of the therapy team.

We are looking for someone who likes working with people and is reliable, flexible and adaptable in their work.

Previous experience as a Therapy Assistant or similar is desirable, and applicants should have experience of delivering care and/or rehabilitation to older people with various needs.
