Apricus Resourcing are currently looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic and adaptable Substance Abuse Addiction Health Recovery Worker for a leading Substance Misuse Criminal Justice Recovery Service to work in Preston, who is really passionate about providing a personal recovery service.

These roles are working full time ideally standard hours of 37.5 hours per week Mon, Fri 9am-5pm, any on shift expenses will be compensated.

In this role you will support service users all the way from Initial triage and assessment, to then latterly formulate the immediate care plan & harm reduction advice.

You will also be required to sign post out to additional appropriate support services, then arranging the first clinical or psychological interventions appointment along with ongoing support in a secure setting.

Duties for the role will include:

Working closely with service users to help reintegrate them back into their communities
Help service users reduce their SM related harm
Help formulate Care Plans and review these on a regular basis
Take part in regular 121 sessions
Take part in group sessions
Work with external providers to help service users reach their goals, this may include work with social services, HMP's etc
Offer advice when required, service users will look to you for regular help and guidance In order to be considered for this particular role you will need to have experience of working with drug/alcohol abuse, experience of using interventions to facilitate change, experience of working and creating care plans, group work & experience of working closely with families and supporting their needs.

£17.93-£20.03 per hour
