£33,945 - £39,463 + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.

Permanent | Full Time
The duties and responsibilities of the Overhead Linesperson are:
- Carrying out key inspection, maintenance & repair activities on our 132, 275 & 400kV Transmission overhead line networks. This will occasionally require you to work away from your base location area during the week and/or at weekends. Overnight accommodation or out of pocket allowances are provided. There will also be a requirement to undertake out of hours standby duties.
- You'll be responsible for the safety of yourself and colleagues and act as ambassador for a strong safety culture in everything you do.
- You may also be required to respond to emergency situations, in order to provide the best possible service to our stakeholders.
What do I need?
To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:
- An industry recognised OHL qualification for both wood pole and steel tower access and rescue or proven previous experience working on the electricity network.
- A qualification from a recognised overhead line training provider.
- Experience in construction, maintenance overhead line activities would be advantageous, however not essential as training will be provided.
- You'll to be very comfortable working at height, enjoy working outdoors, whatever the weather.
- Good communication skills with an ability to work well in a team environment.
