dnata Catering UK, the world's largest inflight caterer has an exciting opportunity for a Bond Team Manager to join our team based at Birmingham Airport.
What's the purpose of role:
As a team manager, you will ensure that all work is completed in accordance with the daily work schedule.
You will be responsible for ensuring that information received is communicated to the appropriate parties in a timely, effective manner developing andsustaining effective customer relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
You will direct a productive, results driven team ensuring that all compliance standards are met.What you'll be doing:
Carry out daily, weekly team briefings ensuring that any issues raised are communicated to your manager.
Ensure work is completed according to daily work schedules and all costs are within agreed targets.
Manage the roster effectively on a shift basis to ensure the work schedule is maintained whilst being mindful of costs.
Ensure the work schedule is maintained by shift, taking effective corrective action as required highlighting any on-going issues to the appropriate Shift Leader/ Team Manager.
Deal with all issues or customer requests in a timely manner, escalating matters which cannot be resolved to the appropriate manager.
Adhere to security regulations and ensure security instructions and procedures are followed at all times.
Ensure familiarity with all Fire Procedures within the unit as instructed through fire training.
Ensure HACCP Food and Personal Hygiene Procedures are adhered to at all times
Carry out Daily Compliance Checks and communicate any issues appropriately
Ensure housekeeping activities are undertaken by team members
Check Vehicle Sheets daily, reporting any defects to the Shift Leader/ Team Manager
What you'll have:
Excellent people management skills
Be competent Microsoft packages
Ability to plan, organise and delegate
High attention to detail and accuracy, methodical, and logical in your approach to work
Ability to solve problems quickly using own initiative
Enthusiastic, self-motivated, proactive and persuasive
Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Possess an understanding of health and safety regulations in relation to operations
Possess an understanding of Food Hygiene in relation to operations
Understanding of Operational Management Systems
An understanding of Airline Security knowledge
