Unity Works is
looking for a
Catering Assistant to join our small, dynamic team based in
Hereford. You'll join us on a
part-time basis, during term time only, with the position working from Monday to Thursday, offering 5 hours per day, specifically from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. In return, you will receive a competitive salary of
£11.05 per hour

About the role:


We are currently seeking a
Catering Assistant, for an exciting opportunity to join our team at one of our cafes.

The café uses the funds it generates, to provide training and create jobs and apprenticeships for people with a learning disability, to build skills and careers in catering.

The
Catering Assistant will support and train people with a learning disability, whilst working in this unique café environment.

You will work as part of a dynamic team, to provide a professional service, delivering high quality food and drink to our customers.


What do you need to become our Catering Assistant?

  • Have great cooking skills
  • Have previous café experience
  • Have excellent customer service skills
  • Be a trained and qualified Barista
  • Enjoy working as part of a team
  • Highly personcentred, with a positive attitude towards people with learning disabilities
  • Enthusiastic about training people with a learning disability and developing skills and knowledge from your experience
