Trinity House Group are excited to be supporting an exciting high growth business in Lichfield to recruit a talented Commercial Finance Business Partner.

This role reports directly to a high calibre Head of FP&A who has a track record of developing teams.


This role is an excellent career progression route for a commercial qualified accountant who is looking to move away from the day-to-day accounts and focus on commercial value add activity.

You will need strong analytical skill and the ability to businesspartner stakeholders throughout the business to drive growth including supporting new business cases & investment proposals.


The role:

  • Preparing reporting files including thorough indepth variance analysis and commentaries to be presented to the finance management team
  • Weekly rolling forecasts with monthonmonth analysis and variance to budget commentary
  • Using analytics and trends to identify operational drivers for financial variances and being able to use this information to influence Operations in generating efficiencies to create an optimal cost base
  • Providing a finance support service by working with all Account Managers and the management team to help make financial decisions
  • Ensuring spend and spans of control is kept in line with the budget and revenue is maximised
  • Advising on the financial implications of business decisions
  • Analysing financial performance and contributing to medium and longterm business planning and forecasts
  • Interpreting and communicating financial data to nonfinancial managers
  • Liaising with other function managers to put financial results in context
  • Supporting the Head of FP&A in preparing investment appraisals for business case proposals
  • Implementing corporate governance procedures, risk management and internal controls.

You will be / have:

  • The ability to challenge and influence senior management and team.
  • A highly effective communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA or ACA with industry experience)
  • Strong excel & modeling ability
  • Must demonstrate an ability to integrate and work closely with nonfinance counterparts in a leadership capacity.
  • Proactive selfstarter and results orientated.
  • Have an attention to detail that improves forecast integrity, balanced with the ability to see the full financial plan and to be able to articulate the business strategy.
  • Embraces change and enjoys the challenge of working in a fastpaced environment.

Package:
- £50,000 - £60,000 pa
