Main Duties:

To support in the planning and delivery of strategic and operational EDI and wellbeing projects and programmes Play a key role in supporting and advising Trust colleagues including senior managers on the implementation, performance monitoring and assessment of the impact of inclusion objectives, actions and targets as detailed in the EDI and Wellbeing Strategic Plans.

Facilitating contact with both external and internal providers.

Accessing and sourcing specific support and relevant information from these providers on a regular basis To support wellbeing and inclusion initiatives that are retention positive and that raise the profile of the Trust as an employer of choice.

To support line managers with individual cases where advice and guidance is required around inclusion and wellbeing issues, escalating more complexcases to relevant senior colleagues To support the preparation of committee reports, minutes, and associateddocuments within required timescales to committee members and otherattendees.


To facilitate the delivery of Trust wide wellbeing and inclusion events andinterventions to raise awareness and nurture positive relations betweenpeople of different backgrounds The post holder will work alongside managers and the wider HumanResources and Organisational Development Teams in delivering wellbeingareas of positive action across the Trust as directed by the relevant leads.

This will include a focus on purpose, social inclusion, health promotion,prevention of ill health, suicide prevention and other interventions to support improvement in wellbeing in relation to social, spiritual, financial, physical and mental health, in line with the strategic wellbeing plan and the NHS PeoplePlan delivered through the People Promise.

To work collaboratively with colleagues from Cheshire and Merseyside to coordinate and plan Wellbeing events across our co-located sites supporting system interdependency and increasing scaling up and economies of effort.


Reporting and Analysing:

Utilise data sources:

internal and model hospital data to support the healthneeds assessment and to measure the impact of positive actions in relation to the EDI and Wellbeing strategic plans.

Support the implementation of data driven interventions and utilise KPIs to measure the impact of interventions Support the EDI lead in evidencing the Trusts compliance with the PublicSector Equality Duty, Workforce Race Equality Standard, Workforce Disability Equality Standard and equality, diversity, and inclusion reportingrequirements.


Assist in supporting the wellbeing and inclusion elements of the staff surveyand feedback from other engagement sources Undertake areas of research and evaluation, under the direction of the EDIand Wellbeing Leads of new initiatives proposed by NHS England andexternal organisations to identify any further opportunities or good practice that would support and enhance the staff and patient experience within the Trust Maintain a central record of work, detailing processes followed and support in place Communication and relationships.

Coordinate the creation and management of delivering the inclusion andwellbeing calendar of eventsJuly 2023 Work collaboratively with key stakeholders to develop communication plans and resources to support inclusion and wellbeing priorities Support the existing staff networks to develop their communication plans and facilitate their annual events and work programmes and look at additional staff networks that meet the needs of our demographic.

Maintain the wellbeing and inclusion pages on the Trusts intranet and internet and contribute to the content for the proposed staff app.

Take minutes of wellbeing and inclusion meetings as required.

Provide advice and information to support decision making.

Maintain professional boundaries with people and raise concerns or issuesappropriately and confidentially Support and advise the hospital senior leadership teams under the direction of the EDI Lead on the legislative requirements related to equality and diversity and help translate this into action.

To work alongside the Occupational Health team and Wellbeing Lead to identify and support new ways of improving workforce health that positively impact health inequalities.

Training Work with key stakeholders to support the development and co-delivery oftraining programmes related to the wellbeing and inclusion agendas Facilitate individual and group interventions to support the delivery of the EDI and wellbeing plans
