As a talking therapies service we seek to provide ease of access for service users and therefore, some of your working week you may be located in a community base such as GP surgery / community centre.

In addition, based upon the needs of patients accessing the service there may be a necessity to work some of your hours flexibly e.g.

one evening a week.

The Bedfordshire Talking Therapies team care about our staff's wellbeing and we have initiatives that support this such as a wellbeing hour each month, whole team events such as away days and a weekly wellbeing drop in sessions.

The post holder will work with people with different cultural backgrounds and ages, using interpreters when necessary and should be committed to equal opportunities

Alongside the clinical job plan, PWPs also work closely on a special interest Workstream which focus on increasing access, boosting recovery and improving the quality of work we do with hard to reach populations such as Older Adults, Younger Adults, LGBTQ+, BAME and Men's Mental Health.

Our mission is to make a positive difference to people's lives by improving the quality of life for all we serve.

Our values are; we care, we respect, we are inclusive - so we are looking for people who live and breathe these qualities when supporting service users and carers, and in their relationships wit colleagues in the Trust and our partner organisations.
