An exciting global brand who specialise in the Cosmetics industry based in Didsbury are currently searching for a Part Time Management Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis for 20 hours per week which can be done flexibly.

This is a newly created role in order to facilitate exciting growth plans. The processing is currently being undertaken by the finance team at its sister company.


Duties within the role would include:

Credit Control

  • Set up new customers with relevant credit checks
  • Communicate with all customers weekly to confirm they have received invoices and got them posted on their ledger.
  • Communicate with overdue customers and find out why not paid, escalate any issues.
  • Deal with customer queries as soon as come in.
  • Log credit note requests, get approved & raise customer credits.
  • Monthly customer statement runs.
  • Monthly customer credit limit reviews

Purchase Ledger

  • Set up new suppliers with relevant credit checks
  • Print out invoices, match to goods received/purchase orders and send out for approval were necessary.
  • Monthly supplier statement reconciliations.
  • Weekly payment runs.
  • Employee expenses payment run.

General Ledger

  • Daily bank postings.
  • Daily bank reconciliations.
  • Manage cash and prepare cashflow forecasts as appropriate
  • Monthly Intrastat submissions
  • Monthly VAT returns
  • Post monthly payroll journal
  • Petty cash analysis
  • Credit card expenses.
  • Letter of credits when required
  • Bank and statutory audits
  • Ensure all procedures throughout company are being abided by
  • Assist with the annual statutory audit
  • Ad hoc requests as necessary
